A few years ago, I awoke to vision (His Vision). A necklace made of pieces I had never seen. Little did I know He was going to use this as a model of how He would guide my art, and teach me deep truths about who He is.
I moved an old radio(The lies replaying in my head)out of my way and the first piece fell out. It is a cup that held the light bulb.(“I am The Light”)
I waited in expectation for the rest of the pieces to come. (Faith)
I found the second piece- a jewelers double magnifying lens (To examine)
I paid more for that thing then I had ever paid for a part for a piece of jewelry. (Sometimes it costs alot)
I knew the cost was well worth it.
Fitting the first two pieces together was quick, but, I waited a long time for the rest to come -
knowing that He had the complete vision of what I had only seen a part.
(As if through a clouded glass)
I sat one day with a dear friend and mentor and I was wearing the unfinished piece, I had put a nest in the light bulb holder but knew it was only temporary. When she saw the necklace she loved it, but said to me out of the blue, "It's not finished yet is it? I don't know what is missing but I can see that it is part and representative of something big Jesus is doing.
<FWD 4 YEARS>
Today He spoke to me of FREEDOM.
I used to think that freedom was doing whatever I wanted to.
He has turned that upside down for me,
as He fills in the missing pieces(and the parentheses)to this special vision for me,
I realize the gift He has given me.(Truth)
And even as He has taken years to give me all the pieces- He has had the complete vision all along.
The last piece was a typewriter key-
the shift release key.
On this typewriter (which He sent me to a junk store to find, hearing Him say "there is something there for you" and it turned out to be a rare vintage typewriter which I bought for $12 but saw online for $400!)
it reads "shift freedom".
I know now that....Within His vision is where my FREEDOM is.
SHIFT FREEDOM.

As I was writing this all out He was whispering to my heart the things that are in parenthesis , filling in the blanks and the rest of the story.
